Queensland Mental Health Commission

The Queensland Mental Health Commission drives reform of the mental health and alcohol and other drugs systems in Queensland.

The Commission encourages and facilitates change to improve the mental health and wellbeing of all Queenslanders, with a focus on improving mental health and wellbeing, and preventing and reducing the impact of mental illness, problematic alcohol and other drug use, and suicide.

We seek the views and experiences of people with a lived experience to help shape the reform agenda. The collective effort of all stakeholders is essential to bring about reform and better outcomes for all Queenslanders. We work across a broad range of areas, including health, social, education, child safety, employment, economic and justice sectors.

The Commission is a statutory body established under theĀ Queensland Mental Health Commission Act 2013.
